Gorton Library is moving across the road to the new Gorton Hub!

Manchester’s most diverse and bustling neighbourhood deserves a library to match. So if your morning paper is in Bangla or Urdu, we’ve got it. If you like your picture books in Polish, we have some. If you like your fiction in Farsi, we’ve got that too.

Since we opened, the light-converting panels on our roof and south wall have generated enough energy to power a street of 3-bed houses for 35 years.
