Avenue Library and Learning Centre

This ultra modern library and learning centre is the place to come for films (on DVD) and for books, free Wi-Fi and internet-ready computers as well as leisure classes and meeting rooms.

This corner of Victoria Avenue East is no stranger to landmark buildings. Generations of Blackley film lovers flocked to the classic cinema that stood here through the 1930s to the 70s.Today, this ultra modern library and learning centre is still the place to come for films (on DVD) and for books, free wifi and internet-ready computers as well as leisure classes and meeting rooms.
The learning centre here is skilling local people up with training, advice and qualifications to get into and succeed at work. Who said business and pleasure don’t mix?
