We are a self-serve library conveniently located on the corner of Stockport Road and Yew Tree Avenue. We share our fantastic new building with Arcadia Leisure Centre.

We are a self-serve library conveniently located on the corner of Stockport Road and Yew Tree Avenue. We share our fantastic new building with Arcadia Leisure Centre.
The library offers a modern, open plan and attractive space within the leisure centre, where PC's and Wi-Fi are available.
With over 90 hours of access, the library can be used even when staff aren’t there. You can borrow, return, collect reservations and renew books. Book stocks for all ages are available, including a dedicated children's library with study spaces.

Staffed library service

  • Monday, Thursday and Saturday 9am to 5pm
  • Wednesday 1pm to 8pm

Self-service library service

Outside of the staffed opening times, the library will be available from :

  • Monday to Thursday 6.30am to 10pm
  • Friday – 6.30am-5pm
  • Sunday - 9am-5pm

Age Friendly Hour

Monday, 10am to 11am is Age Friendly hour when our older customers get priority support and a friendly welcome.
